Description

Location: The Angsana Resort occupies the island of Ihuru, in North Male Atoll. Surrounded by pristine white powdery sand and the clear blue waters that are home to amazing soft corals and colourful fish. There is a 20minute speedboat ride to the airport and city of Male but otherwise this beautiful tropical haven is all yours, the beaches and its waters are accessible to resort guests only.

Facilities: Simply step out of your villa and feel the talc sands between your toes, before dipping in to the inviting waters and relax. Naturally snorkelling and scuba are a must when visiting the Maldives, however, the resort hosts a range of activity to enjoy from volleyball, water-sports, board games and excursions such as island hopping and visits to Male. Water-sports include windsurfing, sailing, water skiing, Ringos and banana boat rides. For something different guests can have fun in the cooking classes.

Restaurants & Bars: The resort restaurant and bar offers a range of dishes and exotic cocktails, mouth-watering Asian and Mediterranean flavours are served buffet style of on a set menu in the Riveli restaurant. You can dine on the wooden deck with just the melody of the waters whilst watching the sunset. Private dinning is perfect for those romantic evenings, located on the beach or in a private villa prepared just for the 2 of you. The Velaavani Bar is by the waterfront and house reef, serving delicious cocktails and a choice of snacks all day long. You can chill out by the lagoon whilst sipping you cocktail and watch out for Turtles and even Dolphins passing by.

Accommodation: All the stunning contemporary villas are on the beach and are of a modern design, each with a private garden, veranda and dining area. The beachfront villas boast an open-air bathroom where you can enjoy the warmth of the sunny mornings or the starlit sky whilst having a refreshing shower.
