Description
Location: Set on the renowned Santa Eulalia beach in Albufeira, this five-star resort and spa enjoys a unique and privileged position on the Algarve coastline. The hotel greets guests with large green areas and landscaped gardens, designed to create a stunning visual impact and resort-type ambience.
Facilities: There are two tennis courts with artificial grass, a fully equipped gym with cardio-fitness equipment, four outdoor heated pools, including one seawater, and direct access to the beach. Please note that the number of outdoor heated pools available depends on the hotel occupancy and the season. For children aged 3 – 12 there is a mini-club, Rea Lito with specially trained professionals, there’s children’s pools and an animation programme for all guest and children. For some pampering head to the 1000 m2 Thalasso Spa Centre (adult only). Nearby you can find golfing, wind surfing, sailing, catamaran, canoeing, paragliding, water skiing, diving, snorkelling, parasailing, and deep sea fishing.
Bars and Restaurants: The hotels main restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, either buffet or a la Carte. ‘The Pergula’ is an a la carte restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine (open only for dinner). The hotel has three pool bars open from 10.00 to 18.00 (summer) which also serves snacks (sandwiches and salads). The ‘Real bar’ with a fine wine cellar is an elegant high quality bar open from 09.00 to 01.00.
Rooms: The hotel has 344 luxury rooms and suites, including 155 luxury resort suites (studio, T1 and T2 resort suites), 189 rooms, among them 27 suites and 2 Grande Real suites, on the five floors which make up this Spa hotel. All units are equipped with full bathroom, air condition, direct telephone access, internet access, hairdryer, satellite TV, safe deposit box, rooms with connecting doors, and kitchenette in resort suites. Non-smoking and specially rooms for physically disabled people are also available.

Leanne was a delight to work with, proactively suggesting options, whilst remembering they had to be practical. What I appreciated most was how responsive and efficient Leanne was. Everything was handled promptly. Even though we haven’t taken the trip yet, I already feel confident that things will run smoothly thanks to the excellent groundwork that Leanne put in place.

I’ve now lost count of the trips I’ve booked with Gavin at e-shores and how he always manages to know exactly what we like and gets a great price - always the same or less than I research myself. Our latest was Greek island hopping to Mykonos, Paros, Naxos and Santorini and the hotels Gavin booked were all outstanding and the typically small, boutique hotels with less crowds. We went out of season (1st - 13th Sept) and everything went smoothly from the airport transfers, the welcome we had at each hotel and the beauty of each island having its own magic. Looking forward to the next trip already booked through Gavin in November! Thank you everyone-shores - the Napiers!

Claire Smith offered invaluable support in arranging our travel by air to Portugal pluse trains around the country, offering a choice of three hotels in every stop. She expanded our initial thoughts of Lisbon and Porto to include fantastic destinations that we would not have thought of - Guimaraes, Aveiro and Sintra. And she suggested tours we might enjoy. She listened. She selected hotels on the basis of what we told her we would like, from the feel of them to their location and the facilities they had. She was on the end of the phone when I needed her and made me feel there would be help at the end of the phone in an emergency abroad. We're looking forward to our getaway, secure in the knowledge it has been tailor maide to our requirements.

Our travel consultant, whom we have worked with for a few trips now, was given a wide ranging, complex and extensive overseas tour itinerary to quote for my wife and I. Not only did she return the quote within a matter of days but it was an amazing price and the hotels of our choice were mainly booked. The administration backed up the agreed quote with all relevant documents and we paid the deposit. All was done with the utmost efficiency, accuracy and speed. Wiil be back!!
