As its Canada’s biggest city, it really does offer everything you could ever want from a city break. A visit to the iconic CN Tower is a must as its one of the Modern Wonders of the World. You can even dine 1100 feet above the ground in its revolving restaurant and if you have the stomach for it you can stand on its glass floor.

For the shopaholics, a wander through ‘The Path’ is recommended as it’s the world’s largest underground shopping centre. Alternatively for a different type of shopping experience head to Kensington Market where you’re sure to discover some interesting finds.

If you’re in to spectator sports then there are lots of events to choose from however we recommend going to a hockey match as the atmosphere is captivating.

For culture there are over 25 museums as well as various art galleries to explore. The Royal Ontario Museum is a firm favourite with tourists, and has a wide range of cultural and nature exhibits on offer, whilst art lovers should visit the Art Gallery of Ontario.

For thrill seekers there’s Canada’s Wonderland, a large theme park with some knuckle-biting rollercoasters. For the little ones, there’s the Toronto Zoo and Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, as well as Centreville Amusement Park.

When it comes to nightlife and partying, Toronto is Canada’s top destination, with everything on tap you could dream of. From some of the country’s best restaurants to the trendiest bars and clubs you’ll find. There’s also numerous festivals that take part throughout the year, including one of the world’s biggest Pride Festivals.

For some time out, there are many city parks to enjoy, you could visit The Beaches, a collection of three beaches situated on Lake Ontario, or you could explore the Toronto islands. You could even head out of the city to visit Niagara Falls.
