Arrive at the Amanyara (which means peaceful place) and enter through a large reception pavilion that opens onto a grand formal reflecting pool, landscaped with mature trees and framed on one side by a library and boutique, and opposite, by a restaurant and bar. The circular Bar offers a dramatic soaring roof and sea views, fronted by the 164ft (50m) swimming pool and sun deck. The setting has many moods; it is spacious and dramatic yet intimate with cosy areas to retreat to. For luxury in the Caribbean this is hard to beat. The hotel and location are stunning, the diving is amazing, the accommodation and service is excellent and we never hear anything but great reviews. We highly recommend this resort. Please bear in mind that if you’re a golf enthusiast the course is a 30 minute drive.
