✈️  UK to Maui (5 Nights). Your Hawaiian adventure begins in Maui, where luxury meets total relaxation – just what the doctor ordered after your long-haul flight.  There are a raft of luxury beachfront resorts to choose from, particularly on Wailea Beach, Kapalua Bay and Kaanapali Beach, where you’ll wake up to the sound of waves lapping the shore.  If you can tear yourself away from your beachfront resort, take a drive on the scenic Road to Hana, stopping to take in beautiful waterfalls and the black sand beaches along the route.   For an early morning start, head to the Haleakalā National Park where you can watch a magical sunrise on top of the Haleakalā Crater –  it’s a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.  For some fabulous snorkelling, explore the crystal-clear waters of Molokini Crater, a volcanic atoll reached by boat trip that offers the chance to see some spectacular underwater life.

✈️  Mauai to Oahu (5 Nights):   After a few serene days in Maui, it’s time to head to Oahu with its energy, vibrant surf culture and lively city atmosphere.  Oahu is famous for the iconic Waikiki beach in Honolulu. Relax on the sandy shores, grab a shaved ice (a popular Hawaiian iced treat) and watch the surfers carve through the waves like a knife through butter.   For a poignant reminder of WW2, visit Pearl Harbour, with the USS Arizona Memorial, USS Missouri battleship, Pacific Aviation Museum, and the visitor centre to learn about the history and significance of its location during the war. North Shore has a magnetic pull for surfers in winter due to its massive waves and world-renowned surf competitions. Even if you’re not into surfing, it’s a great place for a wander with picturesque beaches and lovely local shops to explore.

✈️  Oahu to Kauai (3 Nights):  Your journey continues as you take another short flight from  Oahu to Kauai.  As you step on the island, you’ll feel a sense of peace wash over you as you swap lively energy with pure untouched beauty.   Kauai is a true nature lover’s paradise. Explore the breath-taking Na Pali Coast by boat, taking in the cliffs rising dramatically from the sea. If you’re up for an adventure, hike through Waimea Canyon – often called the ‘Grand Canyon of the Pacific’ – where you’ll experience the stunning contrast of red and green landscapes carved by ancient lava flows and rain. You’ll also take in spectacular viewpoints, such as the Waimea Canyon Lookout.  Take some time to relax on the lovely beaches such as those along the Coconut Coast and visit the pretty town of Kapa’a and stroll around the colourful shops, cafes and farmers’ markets.

✈️  Kauai to Big Island (3 Nights): Your final destination is the Big Island, a place where you can explore incredible volcanoes and stargaze under the clearest skies. The island is divided into two distinct halves: the lush, volcanic landscapes of the east and the sunny beaches of the west. In Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park, you can marvel at two active volcanoes, Kīlauea and Mauna Loa, where you’ll witness lava cascading into the ocean and explore unique geological features such as steam vents and the fascinating Thurston Lava Tube. For breath-taking stargazing, make your way to Mauna Kea, where, after watching the sunset, you’ll be treated to a dazzling display of sparkling stars. If you’re looking for coastal relaxation, head to Hapuna Beach where most of the large hotels are located, to unwind on soft white sands and swim in crystal-clear waters.
