Itinerary
3 Nights – Hong Kong
7 Nights – Maldives
✈UK – Hong Kong (3 Nights): At the beginning of your multi centre trip, you’ll fly from your chosen airport in the UK directly to Hong Kong. Once you arrive, you have three days to take in the exciting sights and attractions. Hong Kong is known as the city that works hard and plays hard, with a true East-meets-West heritage. From the ultra-modern harbour and city centre to the surrounding rolling hills, Hong Kong offers a diverse landscape that is always interesting.
Hong Kong is an international centre of trade. Because of this, the city has gained a shopping culture like no other. Whether you’re planning a big shopping trip or just want to explore, you can’t visit Hong Kong without checking out some of the huge malls. For a look into local life, the bustling food markets offer a fascinating glimpse into the real Hong Kong.
For excellent views, take a trip on the iconic Star Ferry to observe the city from the water. Alternatively, Victoria Peak is the highest point on Hong Kong Island and is reached by the almost vertical Peak Tram – an experience in itself! Once you’re at the top of the peak, you can enjoy a walk or simply sit and take in the views of the city over the lush green mountains. For more ways to spend the day outside the bustle of Hong Kong, take a boat over to Lamma Island to discover hidden beaches, or visit the Big Buddha statue on Lantau Island.
✈Hong Kong – Maldives (7 Nights): In the next portion of your multi centre holiday, you’ll leave the lights of the city to head to the Maldives. Depending on the resort you’re staying in, you’ll be met at the airport and whisked away in either a speedboat or a seaplane to your island.
The Maldives are the ultimate beach escape, boasting an idyllic combination of white sand, palm trees and crystal-clear blue waters. Whether you’re staying in a small boutique hideaway, a contemporary all-inclusive resort or a rustic retreat, there are a plethora of hotels to choose from, all offering endless opportunities for relaxation. If you’re looking for a multi centre holiday with plenty of time to unwind, the Maldives are a must.
Alongside mouthwatering gourmet restaurants and outstanding spas for relaxation, the surroundings of the Maldives provide an exceptionally romantic destination where you can totally chill out. The diving and snorkelling experiences are some of the best in the world, while dining on a private beach offers the ultimate in indulgence. At the end of the day, you can experience some of the most beautiful Indian Ocean sunsets.
✈Maldives- UK: After a week spent in paradise on your Maldives multi holiday trip, you will be collected by speed boat or seaplane and taken back to the main island of Male, where you can fly back to your chosen UK airport.

Things to Do
What is the cuisine like in the Maldives?
The food across the Maldives is a true highlight, and something definitely worth exploring during your multi centre trip. Many of the dishes here are inspired by local culture and geography, so expect plenty of seafood and delicious spices.
Fresh fish, including tuna, grouper, mahi-mahi and red snapper are common; you can enjoy them grilled, fried or curried, with accompanying rice and spicy sauces. Coconut is also common, used in both foods and drinks as a key ingredient. From rich coconut curries and stews to sweet desserts, coconuts are a staple in the Maldives.
For breakfast, don’t miss out on Mas Huni. This popular breakfast dish is a combination of smoked fish, grated coconut, onions and chilli, and is traditionally served with fresh roshi or chapati. Other popular dishes include Garudhiya, a traditional fish soup, and Bis Keemiya, a savoury pastry.
What cultural sites are there in Hong Kong?
If you’re visiting Hong Kong looking for plenty of cultural sites to explore, you’ll find yourself spoiled for choice. Hong Kong is home to numerous temples; the historical Man Mo Temple in Sheung Wa is dedicated to the gods of literature and war, while the Taoist Wong Tai Sin Temple in Kowloon is dedicated to a deity believed to bring good luck. Both offer unique architecture and fascinating history. In Sha Tin, you can find the Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery, a Buddhist temple that features thousands of life-sized Buddha statues around the complex.
For greenery, head to Chi Lin Nunnery and Nan Lian Garden in Diamond Hill, where you can uncover a serene respite from the bustling city. Victoria Peak is also well worth a visit, offering panoramic views of the beautiful city skyline.
There are also a wide range of museums and cultural centres in and around Hong Kong, from the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, a performing arts venue, to the Hong Kong Museum of History where you can experience an in-depth look at Hong Kong’s history, heritage and culture.
Do the Maldives have good beaches?
The Maldives is world renowned for its fantastic beaches and stunning tropical beauty – as a collection of small islands, you’ll never be far away from a beach if you choose a multi centre holiday here.
The beaches in the Maldives are undeniably luxurious, with powdery soft white sands and crystal clear waters where you can snorkel, dive, or simply sit back, relax and enjoy the views. Many of the resorts across the Maldives also have their own private stretch of beach, or beachfront villas with direct beach access.

This is the first time I have used this company and I am so pleased I found them. I couldn’t find any multi centre trips to Andalucia until I came across this company. It’s exactly what I wanted. From my first contact with them until I booked the trip I couldn’t fault them. Kelly was very efficient, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I would certainly recommend this company.

It was the team photo on eShores website that drew me to them - real people, who might actually care about planning my trip. I chose well - Dave Felton listened to what I wanted, and amazingly managed to work to my budget! Couldn't be happier with my booked trip to Australia in October. Thank you Dave.
