Dubai & Maldives Multi Holiday Itinerary

3 Nights – Dubai
7 Nights – Maldives

✈ UK – Dubai (3 Nights): You’ll start your Dubai and Maldives multi holiday by flying from your chosen UK airport to the diverse UAE city of Dubai, where ultra-modern city life meets beachside fun. Everything here is world-class, from the shopping, hotels and restaurants to the golf courses, indoor skiing and water parks; they are some of the best in the world!

Choose one of the dramatic modern hotels to stay in for 3 nights. You can enjoy the sunshine and water parks by day and some of the finest bars and restaurants in the world by night. There are also traditional markets for browsing and bartering and the extravagant ‘supermalls’ – you’ll realise that shopping is serious business here! There’s also every kind of activity, from dune buggy adventures to high-speed jet ski tours – so you can spend a day out in the desert or on the water.

Take a lift to the top of the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, and also enjoy an abra trip (wooden water taxi) to see the old Dubai at Deira. With over 5,000 restaurants and some of the world’s best chefs, there’s plenty to choose from. Enjoy the popular Friday brunches as well as cocktails at the top of towering skyscrapers.

✈ Dubai – Maldives (7 Nights): After making the most of this incredible city you will then fly on to the Maldives for a week on this idyllic archipelago. Here, each island is home to a single resort, so you’ll find your tropical desert island dream. Scattered across the Indian Ocean, each island also has its own personality, from the ultra-luxurious to the more Robinson Crusoe laid-back vibe. One thing that unites them all is their tropical-paradise beauty which inspires total relaxation.

Depending on the resort you choose, you will be met at the airport on the main island of Male and be whisked off in either a speedboat or seaplane onto your chosen island – now that’s not a bad way to travel!

With fine white sand, palm trees and crystal clear blue waters, the Maldives really are the ultimate exotic beach escape. From tiny boutique hideaways to all-inclusive resorts and contemporary hotels to rustic retreats, there are a plethora of hotels to choose from, and each one enjoys the exclusivity of its own island.

Along with outstanding spas and fantastic gourmet restaurants, the Maldives are the ultimate romantic destination where you can totally chill out and, at the end of the day, enjoy sundowns savouring the most beautiful Indian Ocean sunsets.

✈ Maldives – UK: After a week in paradise, you will be collected by speed boat or seaplane and taken back to Male, where you can fly back to your chosen UK airport.

Things To Do

What are the best things to do in Dubai?

Dubai is well-known around the world for its luxury experiences and high-end shopping. If you choose a Dubai and Maldives multi holiday, all that and more is just waiting to be explored.

You could easily lose a day simply wandering around Dubai and taking in the opulent architecture and exciting food and drink options, however, if you want to pack even more into your multi holiday, you’ll find yourself spoiled for choice. The Burj Khalifa is a must-visit; as the tallest building in the world, you can expect absolutely breathtaking views from the 124th-floor observation deck. The Dubai Mall is also one of the largest in the world, with well over 1,200 shops as well as cinemas, an ice rink, and an aquarium. Make sure you stop by the Dubai Fountain outside for a mesmerising show of lights and water. The Palm Jumeirah is also an excellent spot. This man-made island boasts a range of exciting hotels, restaurants and beach clubs.

If you want to get away from the lights of the city and explore nature, take a desert safari. You can drive through sand dunes and experience traditional dance shows before enjoying a relaxing meal under the stars. Dubai Miracle Garden also offers over 45 million flowers in stunning, elaborate patterned designs, providing a stunning location to explore the beauty of nature. So, whether you want a jam-packed shopping trip or simply to take in the gorgeous surroundings, a Dubai multi holiday has you covered.

Is there a nightlife in the Maldives?

The Maldives is a collection of islands with individual resorts, all focused on relaxation and tranquility – if you’re looking for a multi holiday with packed downtown districts and wild clubs, this may not be the spot for you. That being said, most resorts and hotels have lounges and bars that serve alcohol, and you may find nightclub options or DJ events. Many resorts also offer a range of more cultural entertainment options, such as beach parties, shows, overwater bars and live music, which is a great way to let your hair down while still taking in the natural beauty of your surroundings.

The Maldives is a destination for seclusion, calmness, and stunning nature. While there are options for nightlife, the atmosphere is generally more low-key than you’ll find on traditional ‘party’ or city holidays. Relaxation is very much the focus here, and post-sundown options tend to be based on culture and experiences.

What is the shopping like in Dubai?

If you’re wanting to pack in some shopping to your Dubai and Maldives multi holiday, you’ll find an amazing range of options to explore in Dubai. The previously mentioned Dubai Mall is the largest mall in the world, with plenty of excellent shops to check out. Other options include the Mall of the Emirates, which boasts over 700 stores and an indoor theme park, and Ibn Battuta Mall, a themed mall with various sections dedicated to regions from around the world. City Walk is perfect for wandering outdoors, while the waterfront Dubai Festival City Mall is ideal for shopping and dining in beautiful surroundings.

Of course, it’s not just malls here. Dubai also has a range of traditional markets or ‘souks’, where you can find more unique items, including souvenirs, textiles and rich spices – haggling here is a must!
