Day 1 > Heathrow to Nairobi: You will take an overnight flight from Heathrow to Nairobi airport.

Day 2 > Nairobi to Arusha: On arrival in Nairobi, you will be met and taken to the Arusha Coffee Lodge, a boutique lodge set in the tranquil surroundings of a coffee plantation where you will take lunch and enjoy a restful night’s sleep in a luxurious Plantation Suite.

Day 3 > Tarangire (2 nights):
Day 3: In the morning you will be taken on a tour around the coffee estate in Arusha and then return to the lodge for a relaxing lunch in the lodge’s beautiful gardens. After lunch, you will be transferred to Arusha airport for your flight to Kuro airstrip on a luxury light aircraft bound for Tarangire. On arrival in Tarangire you will be taken for an afternoon game drive in Tarangire National Park before arriving at your accommodation: the fabulous Tarangire Treetops.
Day 4: After an early morning wake-up call, you can choose to take a spectacular hot air balloon flight over Tarangire, followed by a ‘bubbly’ breakfast (optional extra). Alternatively, you can visit a local Masai village or take a guided game walk. The afternoon will be spent enjoying a game drive in Tarangire National Park, followed by sundowner cocktails and finally a night game drive.

Day 5 & 6 Ngorongoro Crater (2 nights):
Day 5: In the morning you will take one last game drive in the Tarangire National Park, before heading to Kuro airstrip for your flight to Manyara (approx. 20 minutes) stopping for a picnic lunch on the way. On arrival in Manyara you will be met and transferred to Ngorongoro where you will enjoy high tea at your accommodation at the elegant The Manor at Ngorongoro – a Cape Dutch-style manor home with 20 luxurious suites and magnificent views.
Day 6: Enjoy a full day’s exploration of the Ngorongoro Crater – fondly known as the eighth wonder of the world and home to practically all of the wildlife you could wish to spot on a trip to Africa. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed on the crater floor.

Day 7 & 8 The Serengeti (2 nights):
Day 7: In the morning you can either choose to visit Lake Manyara National Park or alternatively stay at The Manor for a restful morning on the estate or perhaps try some horseback riding or cycling. After lunch you will be transferred to the airstrip at Manyara for a short flight (approx. 40 minutes) on a luxury light aircraft to the Serengeti. On your arrival, you will be whisked off for a game drive in the afternoon in the world famous Serengeti National Park, followed by sundowners and dinner at your accommodation – the magnificent Serengeti Migration Camp. Staying in a luxury tent, with top class facilities and dining, you will be surrounded by nature and situated right next to the Grumeti River and its resident hippos.
Day 8: You will spend a full day in the impressive Serengeti National Park, enjoying a bush lunch to recharge the batteries mid-way through the day. You will then return to the camp for sundowners and dinner.

Day 9 Arusha: In the morning, you will take in the sights and sounds of the Grumeti River on a guided game walk and then return back to camp for lunch. You will then take a game drive on your way back to the airstrip (approx. 1 hour’s drive) for your flight to Arusha (approx. 1 hour). On arrival in Arusha you will be met and taken once again to the Arusha Coffee Lodge where you will stay in a superior Plantation suite and benefit from a relaxing evening and night’s sleep.

Day 10 Arusha to Heathrow: Morning activities include a choice of a visit to the Tanzanite Museum, the Cultural Heritage Art Gallery or the Masai Market (optional extras). After lunch, you will take a transfer to Kilimanjaro airport for your onward flight to Nairobi and then the final leg of your journey, back to Heathrow or a beach extension (please ask us for details).
