Location: Turks & Caicos are known for their beautiful beaches and Ocean Club Resort rests on the most stunning of all, Grace Bay Beach, a 12 mile stretch of powdery soft white sand caressed by the clearest of turquoise waters.
Description: Ocean Club Resort is a beautifully balanced hotel providing a perfect blend of peace and tranquillity together with an array of things to keep you entertained. The Ocean Club also has a sister hotel a few minutes walk up the beach (there’s also a complimentary taxi) so guests can make the most of facilities at both resorts.
Choose from an array of activities, however the most popular has to be doing absolutely nothing; bask on the sun drenched beach, wade through the warm crystal clear sea then cool off in one of the impressive freshwater pools. Guests can visit Spa Tropique to indulge in one of the many treatments and therapies on offer, or if you’re feeling more active there are floodlit tennis courts and a fully equipped fitness centre. Nearby are Provo Golf Club and a dive centre with a wide range of water sports on offer - everything from windsurfing to parasailing. You can even be dropped off on a small deserted island oasis, leaving you to enjoy a truly amazing experience.
When it comes to dining, the Ocean Club Resorts have fused to create their own unique Caribbean blend. Fresh fish, exotic fruit and shellfish seasoned with island spices and combined with the finest cuts of meat, all grilled to perfection. There are three restaurants across both resorts, the elegantly sophisticated Gecko Grille and the casually delightful Cabana Bar and Grille, both at Ocean Club with the French –Caribbean influenced Seaside Café at Ocean West.
Accommodation: The resort offers a variety of rooms, from the intimate studio suites to spacious 3-bedroom apartments. All suites are beautifully appointed, with stylish seaside décor and are fully equipped with the comforts of home. All rooms include the standard amenities as shown below, which includes a modern kitchenette, a full bathroom and a balcony with island view. The deluxe studios offer additional space with 2 double beds, a separate bath and shower and a screened balcony. In addition to the Deluxe studios the suites provide guests with a full kitchen, dining area, lounge area with sofa bed and a pool/garden/ocean view. Choose between Junior Suites and 1, 2 or 3 bedroom suites.
Our Opinion: This resort is in a stunning location; the food, service and accommodation are all excellent and it’s great value for the money. The kitchenette in the standard studio is quite small.
