Location:

Amanyara is located along the coast of Northwest Point on Providenciales. With 800 metres of white sand beach adjacent and the remarkable coral reef walls of Northwest Point Marine National Park directly offshore, Amanyara offers easy access to diving and other water sports.
Description:

Arrive at the Amanyara (which means peaceful place) and enter through a large reception pavilion that opens onto a grand formal reflecting pool, landscaped with mature trees and framed on one side by a library and boutique, and opposite, by a restaurant and bar. The circular Bar offers a dramatic soaring roof and sea views, fronted by the 164ft (50m) swimming pool and sun deck. The setting has many moods; it is spacious and dramatic yet intimate with cosy areas to retreat to.

The beaches are some of the most stunning in the world, the turquoise water is crystal clear and the coral reef that stretches the full length of the north-east coast offers an unbeatable diving experience. The fully equipped dive centre offers a range of courses, and a wide range of water sports are on offer, or simply relax on the soft white sands and immerse yourself in to a good book. If you want to get away from the beach, the impressive infinity pool boasts an expansive terrace that provides uninterrupted views of the ocean. For the more energetic there’s a fully equipped fitness centre and floodlit tennis courts.

When it comes to dining, the Beach Club provides an informal dining venue. Throughout the day the food is simple, with grills, sandwiches, and salads and in the evening it provides an intimate and informal area for beach barbeques. The Restaurant provides a choice of dining settings with the interior of the room divided into two areas; the first open to the breeze and the second air-conditioned, both boasting sweeping views of the beach and the ocean. The cuisine on offer provides a selection of Asian and Mediterranean fare with an emphasis on local seafood. Visit the bar for an after dinner drink, open until late in to the evening.
Accommodation:

The 40 pavilions are nestled into the vegetation, with pond pavilions boasting a timber sundeck extending over the waters edge. Ocean pavilions are located along the ocean front, elevated slightly above the water. All the entrances boast a terrace with 2 day beds, sliding glass doors open to reveal a central king-size bed, behind which sits a writing desk, chair and a cabinet containing a personal bar. The rooms also contain reading chairs, an entertainment system and 2 further terraces. The bathrooms are luxurious with free-standing baths, shower room, dressing area and twin vanities. The pavilions have a tropical theme, using a simple palette of colours that compliment the surroundings.
Our Opinion:

For luxury in the Caribbean this is hard to beat. The hotel and location are stunning, the diving is amazing, the accommodation and service is excellent and we never hear anything but great reviews. We highly recommend this resort. Please bear in mind that if you’re a golf enthusiast the course is a 30 minute drive.
