Location: Who can tell?! This unique camp follows the migratory path of the wildebeest as they travel across the Serengeti plains.
Description: The path of the wildebeest, which move relatively slowly, is thoroughly researched, so the camp is always one step ahead and well placed to best see this spectacular occurrence.
The camp has its own trained guides and safari vehicles to ensure guests make the most of this experience.
Meals are Pan African and bush meals are also provided.
Accommodation: Bedouin-style tents and private butler service is reminiscent of early twentieth century explorations and glamour. There are four permanent and three semi-permanent lodges with full ensuite facilities.
Our Opinion: With no running water and no electricity, this camp is of course not for everyone. However, for those who love the thrill of the chase, the calm tranquillity that outdoor living provides and the camping experience, Serengeti Under Canvas is a truly remarkable concept.
