Location: Around three hours flying time from Arusha, the lodge is situated in north west Tanzania.
Description: Set high up on a ridge overlooking the Serengeti plains, this resort is constructed in traditional African style with animal skins, rope banisters and beautiful carvings.
Activities offered here include driving safaris, wildebeest migration safaris, visits to Maasai villages and balloon safaris. Beauty and massage treatments are also available.
Based on the architecture of a Maasai village with stone buildings and thatched roofs, the resort nevertheless has a swimming pool, bar and restaurant, serving both international and African dishes.
Accommodation: All rooms have air conditioning, separate bath and shower, and private verandah.
Our Opinion: A comfortable, friendly resort. A great base from which to watch the wildebeest migration.
