In conjunction with each other, The Royal by Rex and the St Lucian by Rex offer an extensive range of facilities. Ther are inter-connecting pools with a swim-up bar that overlooks the beach; guests can enjoy use of the tennis courts during the day and there’s an on site fitness centre. For an additional fee the hotel can offer guests a wide range of water sports, arrange deep sea fishing trips, horse riding, scuba diving and golf. The hotel also boasts a luxurious spa offering a wide selection of treatments (payable locally) and for the little ones, a kids club is available Mondays to Fridays for children aged 4 to 12.
When it comes to dining the hotel offers 1 poolside and 2 elegant a la carte restaurants. Chic serves a combination of tantalising dishes served in sophisticated surroundings, a perfect fine dining experience. L’Epicure is an open air restaurant serving a gourmet blend of local and international cuisines. After dinner drinks and a varied programme of live entertainment can be enjoyed in the Mistral Lounge.
Accommodation: All the suites at the Royal by Rex are spacious and well appointed, with each suite providing a wide array of amenities as listed below. All suites offer a king size bed or two doubles; they have a balcony or terrace and provide an open-plan lounge area. Deluxe Suites provide views of lush tropical gardens; Seaview Suites offer amazing ocean views whilst Beachfront Suites also provide views of the beach but also boast additional space, DVD players, a trouser press and in-house video.
Our Opinion: A comfortable and very elegant hotel situated in a very beautiful setting. This is a no smoking hotel.
