Situated in Puerto Aventuras, the heart of the Riviera Maya you’re within easy reach of most major tourist attractions, you’re 15 minutes drive from Playa del Carmen and 50 miles south of Cancun airport.
Description: White powdery beaches and turquoise blue waters surround the Catalonia Riviera Maya while thatched roofs, terracotta floors and stone tables provide a traditional and casual setting, the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming whilst they deliver a first-class level of service.
The Catalonia Riviera Maya features five swimming pools and a Jacuzzi. For the active there’s a fitness centre, tennis courts, a range of watersports and a daily activities program. You’ll find a great marina with restaurants and bars just a short walk away, as well as a nine hole golf course set in the jungle, which was designed by golf pro Tom Lehman and for the children there’s a children’s pool and kid’s club.
When it comes to dining, drinking and evening entertainment the hotel provides a wide variety of options. Bamboleo serves casual fare and various snacks throughout the day and late in to the night, Bellavista is an Italian restaurant offering guests a delectable a la carte menu, Las Brisas is a buffet style restaurant serving a range of international cuisine and for an a la carte Mexican experience guests can visit their exquisite Los Alebrijes restaurant. There are 5 bars to choose from providing a range of settings to enjoy, there’s a nightclub for nights you want to carry on in to the early hours and there’s a theatre for the nights you want to watch one of their spectacular shows like their Mexican fiesta.

Our Opinion: An excellent location providing stunning grounds, a beautiful stretch of beach and plenty of things to do, either within the resort or in Puerto Aventuras itself.
