Location: The Hilton Sharks Bay boasts a peaceful setting in Sharks Bay which is about 15 minutes drive from Naama Bay, Sharm el Sheikh's bustling centre. Sharm el Sheikh is the biggest and most popular resort on Egypt's coastline. With a range of shops, bars and restaurants, a lively nightlife and some of the world's best and most famous diving sights, Sharm el Sheikh has something for everyone. You can also visit Luxor and Cairo to get an insight in to Egypt's rich past.
Description: The Hilton Sharks Bay has something for everyone, with 4 freshwater pools, all of which are heated in the winter, a childrens pool and a dive centre. There are various activities guests can get invloved in, including tennis, beach volleyball, squash and table tennis as well as the hotels health club and spa. There's a childrens club and an animation team who provide entertainment throughout the day, while in the evening there is varied entertainment including live music.
Dining options at the Hilton Sharks Bay include the main restaurant offering a buffet with live cooking and an Italian restaurant. Snacks and refreshments are available from the Pool bar, the Beach bar, the Chill Out bar and the Sunset snack bar.
The All-Inclusive package includes 3 meals a day served in the main dining room or Italian restaurant, with breakfast, lunch and dinner served buffet style. Local draught beer and wine will be served during lunch and dinner. Morning snacks (11am to midday) and afternoon snacks (3pm - 6pm), plus late bites (10pm - 2am). A selection of unlimited soft drinks (excluding fresh juices), local draught beer, local spirits with mixers (spirits are not served without mixers) and hot beverages from the Beach bar (10am - 6pm), Pool bar (10am - 9pm), Sunset Bar (10am - 2am) and Chill Out Bar (8pm - 2am). Ice cream by the scoop from the Pool and Beach bars (4pm - 5pm). Sports activities include squash, table tennis, volleyball, snorkelling, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and pool trial dives. All meal locations can be changed daily without notice (weather permitting). Reservations for all sports activities should be made in advance. Equipment is given against a deposit.
Accommodation: The Hilton Sharks Bay features 317 air-conditioned rooms with private facilities, shower, tea & coffee making facilities, safe, satellite TV, mini fridge, telephone and hairdryer. Most rooms also feature a balcony or terrace.
Our Opinion: The Hilton Sharks Bay Resort offers a good range of facilities in a stunning setting, and the all-inclusive board basis offers excellent value for money.
