Location: The hotel boasts a secluded beachfront location, in a new and unspoilt area known as ‘New Mazatlan.’ It’s less than 6miles from Mazatlan centre, so it’s ideal for enjoying the peace and tranquillity which the location boasts whilst still being close enough to the centre should you wish to visit.
Description: Featuring the neoclassical/colonial style of Mazatlán's historic Angela Peralta Theater, this Mexican resort has a contemporary-with-patina ambience exemplified by ivy-covered walls and ancient style tiered fountains. The resort supplies panoramic views of mountains, sea, beach, sky, and gardened grounds not found in crowded Mazatlán.
Stroll the shoreline by the bay, relax by one of the magnificent infinity pools then take a dip and enjoy a cocktail at one of the swim-up bars. Take a dip in to the spa tub or treat yourself to one of the Spa treatments. If you’re feeling energetic the hotel has flood lit tennis courts and a complimentary fitness centre, with gym and sauna. When it comes to dining the hotel has a range of places, La Cordeliere offers amazing ocean views and you can dine in its casually elegant interior or al fresco on the shaded terrace, enjoy masterfully prepared meals and festive themed buffets. Emerald Grill serves specialty dishes throughout the day in an attractive bistro setting. Kelly's Bar, with its exotic decor, resplendent fine woods and handcrafted furnishings, inspires visions of another era, hors d'oeuvres and light foods are featured, along with an extensive menu of special martinis, fine tequilas, wine and spirits. Aquabars I & II also both serve light snacks and drinks.
Accommodation: Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay is an all-suite resort designed as a village of freestanding villas carefully integrated into a stand of 150-year-old mangrove trees. Each suite has a terrace or balcony with panoramic ocean views. The resort offers 258 suites in total with all the amenities as shown below.
Our Opinion: The location is ideal, a secluded beach, peaceful setting but with all the activities you could possibly want and Mazatlan centre less the 6 miles away. It provides a very high standard of food, service and accommodation.
