Portugal and Madeira Holidays
Portugal and Madeira are popular resorts in Europe. Portugal is on the western side of Spain with the Atlantic Ocean to swim in. The country has a fantastic history as it became a world power in the 15th and 16th century. However in the next two centuries it lost most of its empire to the Dutch, English and French. With influences from Romans, Germans and Moors the country is a fantastic place to visit.
