Location: Around 500km from the Namibian capital of Windhoek, the easiest way to reach Etosha National Park is by car, the camp itself being located around 10km from the park’s Andersson’s Gate.
Description: Perched on a hill within the Ondundozonanandana mountain range, this affordable resort nevertheless has a surprising number of facilities including a swimming pool, internet facilities and room service.
The camp’s location means it is an ideal base from which to explore the Etosha National Park, either on your own or on a guided game drive.
There is a restaurant, which is situated at the bottom of the hill, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Accommodation: 50 bungalows adorn the hillside, nestled in dense vegetation for additional privacy. Each has ensuite facilities and its own verandah.
Our Opinion: A budget-priced safari camp, Etosha is nevertheless well-equipped to ensure a comfortable stay. Staff are welcoming and helpful; a delightful stayover.
