Location: Eberwein Hotel is only around 22 miles from Walvis Bay Airport. An 11 hour flight to Windhoek and then a short drive (around 180 miles) or internal flight from Windhoek to Walvis Bay, brings you to the principal Namibian tourist resort of Swakopmund.
Description: Constructed in 1909 in traditional Victorian style, Eberwein’s exterior may not have changed, but inside, modern living mixes with period features to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Although there is no restaurant within the hotel, there is a comfortable lounge in which to indulge in some beautiful South African wines. Staff are only too happy to not only recommend the best restaurants in the town, but will organise day trips and safaris for you.
Accommodation: A relatively small and friendly hotel, Eberwein has sixteen bedrooms, mainly double rooms. All have ensuite facilities and come with TV, minibar and underfloor heating.
For those preferring something a little extra, there are a number of VIP suites, too.
