Location: Situated in the lhayivani atoll this island has a lot to offer. It has a great range of facilities and possibly the most extensive all inclusive resorts in the Maldives. It is an ideal destination for families, couples and honeymooners who enjoy being active as well as pampering themselves.
Description: This paradise island is spread over 3 kilometres of white sandy beach and lush tropical gardens. The kuredu is very popular and has many features. As well as the 2 swimming pools and children’s pool the island offers a great range of watersports and fitness facilities such as tennis courts, spa and 6 hole floodlit golf course with a driving range.
In the evening guests can relax in one of the many bars, or enjoy some excellent cuisine in the buffet or specialty restaurants.
Accommodation: The garden/beach bungalows have similar amenities including open-air bathroom, air-conditioning, mini bar, safe and tea & coffee making facilities, telephone, CD player and a wooden terrace with sun loungers. Guests can upgrade to a Beach Villa which are larger and have a sitting area and sundeck. The Jacuzzi beach villas have a private garden with a Jacuzzi. To really splash out guests can upgrade to a Sangu water villa which is build over the lagoon and has a four poster bed.
Our Opinion: One of the most recommended islands in the Maldives, due to the quality of service and value for money. The kuredu is an excellent all rounder which offers a good all inclusive programme. You can wander around this vast island and be completely isolated from other guests or participate in one of the many activities such as water sports, 6 hole golf pitch and putt, tennis or take dip in the swimming pool.
