Location: The Victoria Resort is near the beautiful Playa Dorada Beach and has everything you could possibly need within the resort, however the nearby town Puerto Plata boast many shops, bars and restaurants should you wish to get out and explore.
Description: Since the Victoria Golf Resort & Beach was remodelled it has become very popular with holiday makers looking for something a little special. It boasts a stunning beach, amazing views of the mountain terrain, stylish and modern accommodation, and an exceptional level of service all wrapped up in a charming and alluring atmosphere.
Spend your days relaxing on the beach, by the pool or in the Jacuzzi; if you’re feeling more active the hotel provides a daily entertainment programme that will keep you busy, including their famous beach Olympics. If you’re more in to doing your own thing then there are a range of activates and water sports, a games room and a fitness centre. When it comes to dining there are a wide range of options: the buffet-style restaurant El Lago Cafeteria, with its amazing views, offers a wide selection of international dishes in a gracious yet casual setting. Jardin Victoria offers an exquisite fine dining experience in an elegant setting, serving tantalising international cuisine. Pizzeria ‘Mozzarella’ serves gourmet pizzas and Victoria Beach Club serves Mexican and American dishes. There are 4 bars to choose from, an evening entertainment programme, a weekly cocktail party and the occasional beach party, so you can spend your nights however the mood takes you.
The all-Inclusive package includes: All meals, snacks and beverages, including beer wine and cocktails (domestic brands) and a full in-room mini-bar restocked daily. All sports are included except motorised water sports and golf (some time restrictions apply).
Accommodation: All rooms are modern in décor, comfortable and come with all the standard amenities as detailed below. Standard rooms feature a queen-size bed and superior rooms have 1 king-size bed or 2 doubles, coffee making facilities and are slightly larger. Suites have 2 double beds, a separate living area, a sofa bed and an iron & ironing board. Honeymoon suites are also available with a king size 4-poster bed, separate shower, bathrobe & slippers and a Jacuzzi on the terrace.
Our Opinion: This hotel is a great choice, providing quality accommodation with excellent facilities. The evenings are more laid-back than most resorts on the north coast which is great if you want to relax. And with Puerto Plata nearby you can always venture out for a night on the tiles should you wish to! We can also provide bed and breakfast rates for this destination if you prefer.
