Location: Set in the province of Matanzas, Blau Varadero Hotel is around 30km from the airport, on the edge of the beautiful Varadero beach
Description: This hotel looks out onto a wonderful stretch of white sandy beach and blue sea. Modern and upmarket, it welcomes both adults and children, having its own child’s swimming pool and entertainment programme for those aged 4-12.
For the adults, there is, as you would expect, a choice of relaxing treats including massage, a Jacuzzi, steam bath and a hair salon; and more strenuous activity including dancing classes, a gym, tennis courts, jetskiing and water polo.
Whether you are looking to keep in trim or intend to blow your diet and enjoy all the cuisine that the hotel has to offer, there are a choice of eateries for you, available 24 hours each day. There are also several bars so you can indulge in the local beverages or perhaps some colourful cocktails.

Our Opinion: Although not one of the more sumptuous hotels in our collection, Blau Varadero is nevertheless a high quality resort. It is situated in a fantastic location and offers superb facilities. Definitely worth a second look.
