Location: The Bahia Del Duque resort is located near Adeje overlooking the beach were you can enjoy wonderful views of the ocean and La Gomera. The transfer time is approximately 35 minutes from the airport. It is close to shops and restaurants and within walking distance of Fanabe beach, where there are endless amounts of bars, restaurants and entertainment for the children. Close to 5 excellent Golf courses and has its own putting green.
Description: The hotel is the only 5 star resort in the area and has some outstanding design features. Inside the grounds are beautiful tropical gardens, lagoons and heated pools to relax by. Walking round the resort you will see waterfalls fairytale bridges, 6 swimming pools, shopping gallery, children’s playground and a fantastic fitness centre. There are 20 buildings within the resort boasting 417 rooms elegantly decorated and 65 suites. There is also the Casa Ducales within the resort. This is an independent resort within the grounds were there is butler service, private reception and cocktail lounge.
The hotel had 10 fantastic restaurants offering food from Mexican, Mediterranean to American Style grill restaurants. There is an endless amount of fine dining and café style places to eat within the resort. There is entertainment on in the lounge most nights. The cabaret in Tenerife endless and from comics to sing-a-likes you will always have something to do.
If you were to venture out head along to Fanabe or continue to Porto Colon were you will find beautiful beaches and come across Othellos restaurant on Fanabe beach front. Taste the amazing Chicken and Canary potatoes, with Rojo Sauce and Oli Oli here. There is also a real English Chip Shop restaurant in Porto Colon.
The Bahai Del Duque Resort is close to 5 golf courses and with its own putting green you can practice here before you play.
The resort also has a guest services desk so any excursions, entertainment you want to see they will arrange it for you. Go to the theatre in Los Christianos or whale watching out to see, the choice is endless.
Accommodation: The 417 rooms are tastefully decorated and well furnished with private bathrooms , sitting area, dining tables and either a terrace, garden or sea view. There is a satellite TV, safety deposit box. The suites are either Junior or 1 Bedroom.
Our Opinion: This is a beautiful resort and will cater for everyone. All the rooms will cater for up to 3 adults sharing only. There is a mini club for children ages 3-12 as this makes an excellent family resort. Will be enjoyed by couples and older travellers who want a relaxing pamper holiday and will also suite the golfing holiday.
