Location: Occidental Grand Pineapple, formerly known as the Allegro Resort Pineapple, is set in 25 acres of lush tropical gardens that rest on a half mile stretch of soft white sand overlooking the clear turquoise waters of Long Bay. It’s located on Antigua’s northeast coast, a quieter alternative to the developed northwest coast, and is only 30 minute drive from the airport and the tiny bustling capital, St Johns.

There are 5 bars and 3 restaurants which include; Topaz, offering international a la carte and buffet dining; Pineapple Grill serving Caribbean cuisine; and Chef’s Table offering a daily special a la carte menu. The bars offer a variety of settings including the unique Outhouse, offering drinks, snacks and a great view of Long bay. The hotel also has an evening entertainment programme so your evenings can be as lively or as relaxed as you want them to be.
The all-inclusive package includes all meals, snacks, drinks (including premium alcoholic brands), weekly cocktail parties, all the water sports and activities, and a towel service for the beach and pool.
Accommodation: The 180 rooms are all air-conditioned with cable TV; and they all have a patio or balcony with striking views of lush gardens or the Caribbean Sea.
Our Opinion: For an all-inclusive holiday this secluded resort is an excellent standard, with amazing beach and surroundings and offering a wide variety of food, activities and night-time entertainment.
